What is D&D Arena?

D&D Arena is a non-custodial, on-chain battle game on Base. You forge a Dungeons & Dragons 5e hero and either duel other players (PvP) or raid AI-run monsters solo (PvE). An AI dungeon master adjudicates every fight by real 5e rules, and every roll is replayable on-chain.
How does PvP work?

Stake $DND and challenge another player. Both bids lock in the smart contract, an AI resolves the duel round by round on a tactical grid, and the winner takes 99% of the pot. 1% of every pot is burned forever.
What is PvE mode?

PvE is the solo mode: pay $DND to fight an AI-controlled mob, boss or weekly boss — no opponent needed. Win and you roll a loot drop: a unique, AI-generated magic item you can equip onto your heroes.
Do I need to know Dungeons & Dragons to play?

No. The AI handles all of the 5e rules — initiative, spell slots, concentration, conditions, saves and crits. You forge a hero and watch or replay the fight; the mechanics run themselves.
Is it non-custodial? Who holds my funds?

You sign every transaction and funds lock in the smart contract on Base — never with the house. Only the on-chain result releases the pot, and every roll is recorded so any battle can be replayed.
What is the $DND token?

$DND is the game's token on Base (an ERC-20), used to forge heroes, stake PvP duels and pay for PvE runs. 1% of every PvP pot is burned, making the supply deflationary over time.
Do loot items affect ranked PvP?

No. Ranked PvP strips all items so duels stay skill- and build-based. Loot from PvE powers your heroes for PvE progression — it never buys an edge in ranked play.
